The Billit app is the mobile counterpart of the Billit platform. Initially, the app was mainly an extension of the fast input to scan receipts and invoices on the go. Users of the app will have noticed that more and more features have been added to the app in the past period. But there's more. Our developers are working on new features everyday. So be sure to keep an eye on the updates from your app store.

In the meantime, you can use the Billit app to:

• scan receipts, documents and invoices and forward them to the fast input in Billit.

• consult your incoming and outgoing invoices. All invoices are downloadable as pdf-files.

• get an overview of your outstanding invoices, the balances of your linked bank accounts and cash flow on the dashboard.

• consult your customers and suppliers. You can also edit the details of a customer or supplier in the app.

• call or email directly from a customer or supplier sheet.

• consult your documents.

• consult your bank transactions.

Satisfied with the app? Or would you like to make a suggestion to improve the app? Let us know! With your user experience, we can continue to improve Billit and the app.

FAQ

Q: How are receipts processed via the app?
A: When you take a photo with the app, you are always given the choice to indicate what type of cost it concerns. If you select 'invoice/diverse', your invoice will be sent to the fast input for processing. If you choose a different category, your cost will automatically be included in the 'Expenditure' list, with the category to which the receipt belongs as name of the supplier. From a legal point of view, a receipt must contain less information than an invoice. Therefore you no longer need to process it. However, via 'Settings' -> 'Mobile app' you can always choose to send receipts to the fast input for processing first.

Q: I want to save a receipt by processing it as an invoice in 'Quick Entry' but cannot find the name of the category between my suppliers.
A: If this is the first time you want to save a receipt with this category as supplier you will have to create the category as a supplier first. When you select a category in the app itself Billit will automatically create a supplier with the name of the category you chose in the app.

Q: I took a photo in the app, but I don't see it appearing in the fast input.
A: Check the following:
- By default, receipts are sent to the expenditure list and invoices are sent to fast input. You can change this setting using the 'Mobile application' box in the 'Settings' menu.
- Be sure to use the latest version of the application.
- Do you manage multiple companies via your login? Make sure you have selected the right company.
- Open the “Last Entry” list in the application. Is the photo you took in this list, does it has “Ready” as status and a date on which it was sent? Then it should be in your expenditure list (or in the fast input if you defined it this way in the settings menu). If this is not the case, please contact support@billit.be.
